I learned today that Midwest League doubleheaders only last 14 innings by rule (I was disappointed to see that only a hundred or so people stuck around for the second game of the day, though). The Kane County Cougars fought hard to get back into the game after a horrendous outing from Jose Arias, but ultimately fell to the Quad Cities River Bandits 13-10.
